@00:08I would have 1 million questions 4 you about how you did this I'm a novice modeler/animator but I've been a sculptor-painter-drawer-writer all my life, that blows my mind.

@00:08Next time try mixing fluids with some particles system...Will make the effect even more realistic. Great job so far!

@00:08accually that was just what i was thinkin^^ First of I gonna make this one but with more realistic thickness of the edges of the spashes. Then when i master that i will give a shot on trying to make a big ocean wave smashing a cliff. Think its then i gonna do a hybrid with all what that means.

@00:08Well for about every other fluid simulations you will make on the future, always remember that almost any liquid spilled into some container will generate as it flows a few little bubbles inside and in some cases depending on fluids(for example wine, ocean water) some "foam" on top...Play with various options for generating those details and you will have some outstanding results...You are on the right path anyway...Cheers!

@00:08Well to be honest...No...I was looking for some tutorial myself when I wanted to try a few fluid simulation (I had 2.48 at that moment) but didn't found any so I had a few test for myself (and I had a good look at real fluids behavior)but I lost my HDD and all data from it so I quit playing with fluids and particles and started playing with modeling and other things from blender...If somehow you find and great tutorials or "making of"s please share with me. Would be great to learn some more things about this kind of simulations :D
