@00:50Thanks for taking the time to give all the advice! :)
I'll certainly keep it in mind and will start from simpler things like animating spheres!

@00:50I really quite like all of them! Seeing stuff like this is really quite inspiring: I like how when your characters jump on something you can almost "feel" their weight (this is often not the case with 3D animations in reels like this one) and how you manage to convey the personality of the characters that you portrayed. I shall study your skills and be reminded of your results whenever I feel a bit discouraged with my own progress - thanks a lot for sharing!

@00:50Ah, no! You see, I've always been interested in it (particularly mixing 3D and 2D animation), but I'm still at the stage where I'm looking at tutorials and reading books about it when I have some free time after work and in-between other projects. :)
I'm really quite new to 3D - at the moment I'm trying to make my first model in Blender and I'll try to go from there but sometimes it really seems to me all the things I have to learn are a bit daunting and I end up wasting more time worrying than doing! That's why I like looking at stuff like yours - it shows me what I could do with more dedication and motivates me to keep on trying!

@00:50ok :)
Well if you whant to get into animation my tips for you is just to download a free rig and experiment some. Start with something easy like a ball that have some squash and stretch rigs on it, and try to make some good old jumping exercises. Its a good way to get the hang of timing.
If your looking for good books i can give you some tips. For example: The Animators Survival Kit is a great book that has been a good reference and knowledge bank for me.
And if you whant to learn more about 3d over all. Itīs worth getting a member ship with Digital Tutors :)
